  • On this site, you can purchase common tickets (Permanent Exhibition / special exhibition) or permanent exhibition tickets for the Yokohama Museum of EurAsian Cultures.
  • Tickets cannot be cancelled, changed, or refunded after purchase.
  • If you have an invitation ticket or discount ticket, please select "Specified date and time admission ticket " (free of charge). Please bring your invitation ticket and various discount tickets on the day.
  • If you prefer to make payment at the ticketing counter on the day of your visit, you still need to complete you online reservation by selecting gSpecified date and time admission ticket.h
  • Group visits to the Museum are currently suspended.@However, certain dates are reserved for school visits. For school-visit schedule, please click here.

Ticket release will start two weeks in advance at 10:00 a.m. (e.g., tickets for admission on Sunday, January 30, will be released on Sunday, January 16, at 10:00 a.m.)

Admission
Permanent Exhibition
Adults (senior high school students and above): 200 yen; elementary and junior high school students: 100 yen; residents of Yokohama City aged 65 and above: 100 yen

*Students (elementary to senior high school) are admitted free on Saturdays.
*Residents of Yokohama City aged 65 and above will be asked to show ID (e.g., Hamatomo Card) to get a discount.
*Visitors with disabilities, and a care partner are admitted free. You will be asked to show your certificate upon arrival at the ticketing counter.

Please note

Before making reservations, please ensure your device can receive gorder confirmation emailh from etix.com.
Entry to the Museum is by date/time specified timed ticket slotted at one hour intervals. Once inside the Museum, you can stay as long as you like.
Visitors with complimentary tickets, and those eligible for free admission or discounts are also asked to reserve gSpecified date/time admission ticket.h
Within your specified timeslot, you can enter the Museum at any time.
To avoid overcrowding, please do not arrive outside the hour allotted to your ticket.
Ticket resale for profit is prohibited.
The maximum number of timed tickets available per person each time is 10.

Visitor Guidelines

If you have a fever or cold symptoms, do not come to the Museum.
All visitors are subject to a temperature screening upon entry. If you have a fever, we will ask you not to enter.
Please wear a mask throughout your visit.
 

Delivery Method

On the day of visit, please show your ticket by either of the following ways at the ticketing counter (1F).
A museum staff will be scanning your ticket barcode then you can enter the museum.

    One QR code will be displayed per person for each ticket.
    Please ensure your phone has enough battery on the day of visit.
  • Print At Home

    Print out ticket on confirmation page after purchase or print out later from the link received in your order confirmation email.
    One ticket will be issued per person.
    Print out ticket on A4 or Letter size paper.
    Please confirm that the QR code and serial number are printed clearly on your ticket.
    Black and white printing is sufficient.

  • You cannot cancel after you have made your purchase.
    Please review carefully your ticket selection and billing information entered before submitting your order.
  • If the "Buy Tickets" button is not displayed after the on-sale period start time, please refresh the page or clear your browserfs cache (temporary Internet file) and open the Online Tickets page again.
  • Please complete your purchase within 15 minutes from displaying the Review Your Selection page. Please note that after 15 minutes your purchase will time-out and selected tickets will go back to inventory.
