Please present your smartphone screen with the timed entry ticket or a print-out at the entrance to be scanned. Entry will not be permitted without a timed ticket.
Reservations are only valid for the appointed date (re-entry is not permitted).
You are welcome to view the Museum Collection exhibition on the day of your visit to the special exhibition.
Reservation can be cancelled only once. Cancel request will be accepted until 8:59 am on the day of your visit.
No reservations are needed for preschool-age children.
Reservations cannot be made by telephone.
When a given time frame is not completely filled, same-day tickets can be purchased at the ticket window.
No reservations are required to view the Museum Collection.
Tickets cannot be reissued.
Personal information (name, telephone number, etc.), which is provided by the visitor when making a reservation, is used solely for reservation purposes.
However, personal information may be presented to a third party in the following cases:
1. In connection with a legal investigation
2. When requested by a public institution (health care center, etc.) with a valid reason

Requests to visitors

Entry will be limited only to those who are making use of the museum.
We would like to kindly ask that those with the following conditions refrain from entering the museum:

1. Visitors with a fever, cold or symptoms such as loss of taste or smell. (Note: Those who display cold-like symptoms, such as a violent cough, in the galleries may be asked to leave the museum.) Visitors who are in poor physical condition.

2. Visitors who are not wearing a mask.

3. Visitors who may have come into contact with novel coronavirus (COVID-19) patients either at home, in the workplace or at school, or with suspects that they themselves may be infected with the virus.


[Request to Those Entering the Museum]

Please wear a mask when entering the museum.
Before entering the building, please allow us to take your temperature. Visitors with a body temperature over 37.5 degrees Celsius will not be admitted to the museum.
Please use disinfectant or soap to wash your hands. (All of the museum’s restrooms are equipped with medicated soap, and disinfectants can be found in various places throughout the building.)
Please maintain an appropriate distance from other visitors in the galleries and elsewhere in the museum.
Please also maintain an appropriate distance from other visitors when sitting on the sofas.
Please refrain from talking in the galleries.
Please avoid touching the walls and display cases in the galleries.
To avoid congestion in the galleries, it will be necessary to limit the number of visitors. The number of people allowed to enter the library, shop, and other areas of the museum will also be limited. We would like to kindly ask for your understanding.

To greatly suppress the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we have taken the following measures:

Disinfectants have been placed in the entrance hall and other places around the museum, and all of the restrooms have been equipped with medicated soap to ensure visitors’ safety and improve hygiene control.
Places such as the handrails, sofas, lavatories, and elevators, which are touched by a large number of visitors, have been strongly disinfected.
The museum staff will provide guidance while wearing a mask.
To prevent against droplet infection, partitions have been erected in the museum shop and other places, where the staff comes into direct contact with visitors.
To avoid congestion in the galleries, only a fixed number of visitors will be allowed to enter at one time.

On the day of visit, please show your ticket by either of the following ways at the entrance.
A staff will be scanning your ticket barcode then you can enter the museum.

    Print out ticket on confirmation page after purchase or print out later from the link received in your order confirmation email.
    One ticket will be issued per person.
    Print out ticket on A4 or Letter size paper.
    Please confirm that the QR code and serial number are printed clearly on your ticket.
    Black and white printing is sufficient.

If you wish to cancel due to your circumstances, please complete the cancellation form below.

  • Caution
    Reservation can be changed only once. Cancel request will be accepted until 8:59 am on the day of your visit. Cancel request after the acceptance period cannot be accepted.

    There is no cancellation fee.
    Cancellation is applicable on each order level. If you order multiple tickets with one order, all tickets will be cancelled.
    Please note that cancelling the cancel request is not possible.
    If you cancel paid admission ticket, the ticket fees will be refunded through your credit card.
  • Cancellation procedure
    (1) Enter the "email address" used when applying for the numbered ticket and "order number" on the cancellation form.
    (2) "Self-Service refund confirmation" email will be sent. *The cancellation procedure has not been completed yet.
    (3) Open the URL delivered in the "Self-Service refund confirmation".
    (4) The order details to cancel will be displayed.
    (5) After confirming the details of the order, submit cancel.
    (6) Confirmation page will be displayed, the cancellation procedure is complete. "Cancel Confirmation" email will be sent.
