  • The permanent exhibition is free for preschoolers, so they will only need to pay for the Dome Theater
  • Club Miraikan members, visitors holding advance tickets, free viewing tickets, or discount tickets, and visitors who plan to visit on free admission days should request for (2).
  • Permanent Exhibition tickets are free-of-charge on every Saturday for visitors below 18 years of age. To make a reservation for a Saturday screening for a visitor below 18 years of age, please request for (2).
  • Visitors who plan to purchase Permanent Exhibition tickets on the day of the visit with a group discount (eight or more visitors) should request for (2).

About Dome Theater Tickets

We will send an "order confirmation email" after purchase. Please ensure you can receive emails from etix.com.
An entry ticket (permanent or special exhibition ticket) will be required in addition to a Dome Theater ticket to see the Dome Theater.
If you wish to watch multiple screenings in one day, please purchase (2) (Dome Theater tickets only) for the second screening and after.
Small children, such as preschoolers, will not need to purchase Dome Theater tickets if they sit in their guardians’ laps.

Precautions – Be sure to take note of the following
You will need to enter personal information to purchase a ticket. Be sure to check the Etix terms of use before applying.
Tickets may be purchased anytime from two weeks to 15 minutes prior to the screening time.
Tickets for a maximum of seven seats may be purchased per reservation per screening.
One ticket is valid for one person only on the day of the Dome Theater booking.
Changes or cancellations may not be made after a purchase has been made.
Be sure to check your e-mail settings before making a purchase.
Complete your application within 15 minutes after the details of your ticket(s) are displayed on the purchasing screen. The booked seats will become invalid unless the application is completed within 15 minutes.
Changes or cancellations may not be made after a purchase has been made, even in the event of an earthquake, typhoon, other natural disasters, or unforeseen accidents. However, in the event of a screening being cancelled due to situations the museum is responsible for, such as a mechanical problem, the booking shall be cancelled and fees shall be refunded. (No refunds shall be offered for transport costs to or from Miraikan).
Visitors are asked to refrain from reselling tickets.

Delivery Method

On the day of visit, please show your ticket by either of the following ways.
A museum staff will be scanning your barcode ticket then you can enter the museum.

  • Show Ticket on Smartphone

    One QR code will be displayed per person for each ticket.
    Please ensure your phone has enough battery on the day of visit.

  • Print At Home

    Print out ticket on confirmation page after purchase or print out later from the link received in your order confirmation email.
    One ticket will be issued per person.
    Print out ticket on A4 or Letter size paper.
    Please confirm that the QR code and serial number are printed clearly on your ticket.
    Black and white printing is sufficient.
