About tickets

Free admission for visitors under 18 years old and high school students.
College students and vocational school students will be admitted free weekdays for a limited period from December 8th (Tue) - 18th (Fri).
Admission is free for visitors (and one accompanying person) with a Physical Disability Certificate, Intellectual Disability Certificate, Rehabilitation Certificate, Mental Disability Certificate or Atomic Bomb Survivor’s Certificate.
Please present your student ID or various certificates if you are under 18, a high school student, a university or vocational school student, aged 65 or older, or a holder of a disability certificate.
The 3rd Saturday and the following Sunday of every month are family friendship days. So parents (up to 2 residents living in Tokyo) with children under the age of 18 are half the price of the general regular fee (please show the one that shows the address.) Only available at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum ticket counter.
Each ticket (QR code) admits one person. No re-entry allowed.
Resale of this ticket is prohibited. No refund, exchange or reissue of this ticket will be given.
You can see this exhibition without a specified date and time. However, admission may be restricted due to the congestion of the venue.
The exhibition is expected to be crowded on weekends, holidays, as the end of the exhibition approaches. It is recommended to visit on a weekday or in the first half of the exhibition.

Management of QR tickets
QR tickets are the sole responsibility of the purchaser or owner. In the event that multiple copies of the same QR ticket exist, only the first ticket used is valid for entry. Thereafter, entry will not be permitted for the same QR ticket, even if you were the purchaser. The organiser and E-tix are not responsible for any problems caused by the duplication of QR tickets.

High school students, college and vocational school students, persons 65 years old and over, and persons with various types of disabilities must present proof of their age or disability.
Each QR ticket (QR code) is valid for one person for one admission only.
Re-entry is not permitted.

Cancellation
Once the purchase or reservation are confirmed and a QR ticket is issued, no cancellations or refunds are allowed. In addition, the ticket type cannot be changed and the number of tickets cannot be increased or decreased. Please check the reservation details carefully before purchasing.
Cancellations and refunds are not possible even if duplicate purchases and reservation are made for some reason.
After clicking "Reserve" or "pay "on the reservation confirmation screen, the reservation is confirmed. The screen may turn white due to the communication environment or other factors. If the screen turns white or you are unable to proceed to the next page due to your communication environment or other reasons, your purchase may have been confirmed. Please be sure to check the status of your QR Ticket application before re-purchasing through "Purchased Ticket Status Inquiry" or "Email Support" at the top of this page. Even if you have not received an e-mail, your purchase or reservation may have been confirmed.
Prohibitions
The purchase/reservation of QR tickets for commercial purposes and resale of such tickets is prohibited.
The organizers reserve the right to invalidate any QR ticket that is deemed to have been created or obtained illegally due to theft, forgery, etc. The organizer and E-tix will not exchange these QR tickets.
Please note the following in the exhibition hall
Please do not touch the exhibits or display cases.
Please refrain from talking on the phone in the venue.
Please refrain from taking photographs except in the designated area. Nor can they be copied. Please do not use of writing utensils other than pencils.
Please refrain from eating and drinking in the venue.
Please follow the instructions and precautions of staff, and do not disturb other visitors.
The temperature, humidity, and lighting in the venue are controlled according to the loan conditions of the artwork’s owner. Visitors may not find these conditions ideal for their visit.

    Black and white printing is sufficient.
