The latter half of Act 1 of the Evening Show will be a greeting from the lead actor to the audience.
Act 3 is not a kabuki play, but a special presentation with commentary on the costume and makeup of the famous Kabuki masterpiece, 'Shibaraku'.
For the performances above, the English audio guide provides a summary and background, rather than a direct translation.

This limited-time exhibition is a special event based on the play "Yoshitsune Senbonzakura", a highlight of the October Kabuki Performance at the Kabukiza Theatre.
Step into the world of Kabuki and explore its many fascinations through our hands-on exhibits. You'll get to see the stage sets and intricate costumes, handle actual small props, and even learn about the actors who bring the characters to life.
