Admission is free for junior high school students and under.
Disabled visitors admitted free of charge, with one attendant.
College students, high school students and disabled visitors must show their relevant student ID, proof of age or disability status document upon entry to the museum.
Students in high school and university are eligible for free admission from Wednesday, 4 November to Thursday, 19 November 2026. Please bring a valid student ID and visit the ticket counter at the National Museum of Western Art to receive your ticket.
Visitors aged 65 and over may purchase an admission ticket at a \400 discount off the general adult admission fee during the period from Saturday, 24 October to Sunday, 8 November 2026. To receive the discount, please present a valid photo ID at the ticket counter of the National Museum of Western Art on the day of your visit.
Students and faculty members at National Museum of Art Campus Member institutions may view this exhibition on specially priced tickets (students = 1,300 yen, faculty members = 2,200 yen). These tickets are available at The National Museum of Western Art Ticket Office.
You can also see the NMWA Collection Galleries on the same day of viewing this exhibition.
The NMWA Collection Galleries will be closed from January 12 (Tues.) through February 21 (Sun.), 2027.
Cancellations or changes cannot be made once your order has been completed.
Each ticket is valid for one admission for one person during the exhibition period.
Advance reservations are not required. If the exhibition galleries become crowded, admission restrictions may be imposed or numbered tickets may be distributed.
Resale of tickets is strictly prohibited.

    One ticket will be issued per person.
    Print out ticket on A4 or Letter size paper.
    Please be sure that the QR code and the serial number are both printed clearly on your ticket.
    Black and white printing is sufficient.
