Yokohama History Museum - Online Ticketing

  • Online timed ticketing is in effect at the Museum for Thematic Exhibition and for a combination ticket of Permanent Exhibition and Thematic Exhibition.
  • If you already have a complimentary/discount ticket of the Museum, you still need to select gSpecified date/time admission ticketh for free/discount admission, and present your ticket at the ticketing counter on the day of your visit.
    If you prefer to make payment at the ticketing counter on the day of your visit, you still need to complete you online reservation by selecting gSpecified date/time admission ticket.h
  • Tickets cannot be cancelled, changed, or refunded after purchase.

Combination Ticket (Thematic and Permanent Exhibitions )
Adults: 1,200 yen; senior high school and university students: 1,000 yen; elementary and junior high school students: 500 yen, residents of Yokohama City aged 65 and above: 500 yen.

œPermanent Exhibition
Adults: 400 yen; senior high school and university students: 200 yen; elementary and junior high school students: 100 yen, residents of Yokohama City aged 65 and above: 100 yen.

*Students (elementary to senior high school) are admitted free on Saturdays.
*Students (senior high school and university) will be asked to show student ID at the ticketing counter.
*Residents of Yokohama City aged 65 and above will be asked to show ID (e.g., Hamatomo Card) to get a discount.
*Visitors with disabilities, and a care partner are admitted free. You will be asked to show your certificate at the ticketing counter.

Before making reservations, please ensure your device can receive gorder confirmation emailh from etix.com.
Entry to the Museum is by date/time specified timed ticket slotted at 1 hour intervals. To prevent the spread of Covid-19, all visitors are kindly requested to limit your stay in the galleries and shop within 1 hour.
Visitors who have complimentary tickets, and those eligible for free admission or discounts also need to reserve gSpecified date/time admission ticketh online through this website.
To avoid overcrowding, please do not arrive before the timed-entry hour allotted to your ticket.
Within your specified timeslot, you can enter the Museum at any time.
Visitors may have to wait a little longer if the start of each timeslot gets crowded.
Online timed ticketing ends when all the timeslots of the day are sold out.
Tickets cannot be cancelled, changed, or refunded.
Ticket resale for profit is prohibited.
Permanent Exhibition tickets do not include access to Thematic Exhibitions.
The maximum number of timed tickets available per person each time is 6.

Visitor Guidelines

If you have a fever or cold symptoms, do not come to the Museum.
All visitors are subject to a temperature screening upon entry. If you have a fever, we will ask you not to enter.
Please wear a mask throughout your visit.
Wash your hands with soap and use alcohol-based hand sanitizer where available during your visit.
To maintain physical distancing, keep at least 2 meters from others.
Keep conversation to a minimum in the galleries.
Please do not touch displayed objects, museum cases, equipment, and walls.
We may ask you to wait a while before entry.
 

Delivery Method

On the day of visit, please show your ticket by either of the following ways at the entrance.
A museum staff will be scanning your ticket barcode then you can enter the museum.

    One QR code will be displayed per person for each ticket.
    Please ensure your phone has enough battery on the day of visit.
  • Print At Home

    Print out ticket on confirmation page after purchase or print out later from the link received in your order confirmation email.
    One ticket will be issued per person.
    Print out ticket on A4 or Letter size paper.
    Please confirm that the QR code and serial number are printed clearly on your ticket.
    Black and white printing is sufficient.
