Chichu Art Museum Online Tickets

  • The tickets sold on this site are timed-tickets for access to the Chichu Art Museum (in Naoshima) at intervals of 15 minutes.
  • In order to maintain a favorable viewing environment for all visitors, we kindly ask that you limit your purchases to a maximum of 8 tickets at a time. For group visit (9 or more people), please split into smaller groups and book online ticket for different visit time. After booking, contact the museum by using advance notice form.
  • We strictly prohibit buying up more than 9 online tickets of the same time slot by the same group. If we find out the case, we may not accept your entry at the reserved time.

*Admission is free for children aged 15 and under, however child tickets required to enter museum. Please make a reservation through the online ticket.
About tickets
  • Admission intervals: every 15 minutes.
  • Purchase deadline: Until 30 minutes before the preferred time on the visiting day.
  • Online tickets need to be exchanged for admission tickets to the museum. Please visit the Chichu Art Museum Ticket Center on the day of your visit to proceed to the exchange (you can obtain your admission tickets from 10 minutes prior to your booking time).
  • Admission tickets can also be purchased on the spot at the museum, if there are any tickets remaining at the desired timeslot. In case of sold out, tickets can not be purchased on the spot as well.

The number of people allowed to enter the museum during each timeslot is limited.
The Chichu Café is located in the museum and can be used only after admission.
Method of payment: Credit cards only.
Cancellation, changes and refunds are not possible after you have made your purchase.
During peak seasons, you may not be able to board the public transportation connection of your choosing (ferry, high speed passenger boat, bus etc.). Please allow plenty of time when planning your visiting schedule.
Even in the event of delays to public transportation, online tickets cannot be cancelled, changed or refunded. *If the facility has to be closed due to museum circumstances, we will refund the amount paid.
The museum may check visitor ID. Please show appropriate identification (passport, student ID) at reception when required.
Resale of tickets for commercial purposes is prohibited.

Delivery Method

On the day of your visit, please show your barcode ticket by either method below at the Chichu Art Museum Ticket Center.
Upon receiving your admission ticket, you will be able to enter the museum.

    Show ticket barcode on confirmation page after purchase or use the link received in your order confirmation email.
    One QR code will be displayed per person for each ticket.
    Please ensure your phone has enough battery on the day of visit.
  • Print At Home


    Print out ticket on confirmation page after purchase or print out later from the link received in your order confirmation email.
    One ticket will be issued per person.
    Print out ticket on A4 or Letter size paper.
    Please confirm that the QR code and serial number are printed clearly on your ticket.
    Black and white printing is sufficient.

  • You cannot cancel after you have made your purchase.
    Please review carefully your ticket selection and billing information entered before submitting your order.
  • If the "Buy Tickets" button is not displayed after the on-sale period start time, please refresh the page or clear your browser’s cache (temporary Internet file) and open the Online Tickets page again.
  • Please complete your purchase within 15 minutes from displaying the Review Your Selection page. Please note that after 15 minutes your purchase will time-out and selected tickets will go back to inventory.
