One ticket is valid for only one visit by one guest during the exhibition period. Re-entry is not permitted.
Admission is free for junior high school students and under.
Disabled visitors admitted free of charge, with one attendant.
Junior high school students and under, disabled visitors must show their relevant student ID, proof of age or disability status document upon entry to the museum.
College students and high school students must show their relevant student ID upon entry to the museum.
Students and faculty members at National Museum of Art Campus Member institutions may view this exhibition on specially priced tickets (students = 1,100 yen, faculty members = 1,800 yen). These tickets are available at The National Museum of Western Art Ticket Office.
You can also see the permanent exhibition on the same day of viewing this exhibition.
Lively Saturday! -- an event filled-day when chatting in the galleries is encouraged -- will be held on 23 August (Sat.). Free admission to Permanent Collection Galleries. (Admission fees apply to Special Exhibitions.)
You may have to wait when the exhibition room is crowded.
Ticket resale is prohibited.

Ticket Presentation Method

On the day of visit, please show your ticket by either of the following ways at the entrance.
A museum staff will be scanning your ticket barcode then you can enter the museum.

    One QR code will be displayed per person for each ticket.
    Please ensure your phone has enough battery on the day of visit.

  • Print At Home

    Print out ticket on confirmation page after purchase or print out later from the link received in your order confirmation email.
    One ticket will be issued per person.
    Print out ticket on A4 or Letter size paper.
    Please confirm that the QR code and serial number are printed clearly on your ticket.
    Black and white printing is sufficient.
